HOWEVER OFTEN JBM TWEAK THEIR PLANS, WE BELIEVE THAT THIS VALLEY ALONG THE UPPER REACHES OF THE RIVER GREAT OUSE WILL NEVER BE THE RIGHT LOCATION FOR A SOLAR FARM OF ANY ECONOMIC SCALE.
The planning application for the Drover's Lane solar farm has now been approved by WNC. As a response to this, a letter has been sent to WNC stating why the approval of the Drovers Lane scheme should not in any way be seen as a precedent for approving the much larger and much less acceptable Copse Lodge scheme.
Full text of the redacted letter can be seen here.
Even if you have already sent in an objection, if you have more to say in light of the Drover's Lane application or anything else, you can still send in additional objections until the end of November.
We have received many emails and posts saying how upset residents are about the idea of this development, but an effective objection is factual rather than emotional. Please consider the following while responding to West Northants Council: planning.SNC@westnorthants.gov.uk
